The Mira Costa boys soccer team played on Tuesday, Jan. 22 in an away game against Palos Verdes High School, but lost 6-0.
In the first half of the game, Palos Verdes scored four points against Costa. In the second half, Palos Verdes scored their fifth and sixth goals, bringing the final score to 6-0.
“Even though it was a tough loss its good for us to play teams that are better than us,” senior Grant Southwood said. “It helps our team get better.”
The boys’ next game will be on Friday, Jan. 25, against West Torrance High School.
