The Mira Costa boys varsity tennis team defeated Newport Harbor High School 13-5 at an away match on Thursday Mar. 14. The Mustangs are now 7-0.
In singles, sophomore Evan Han and freshman Alex Gaal both won two of their 3 matches. In doubles, senior partners Connor Mathews and Tom Wissel won all three of their matches.
“We are really proud of our progress so far,” sophomore Jason Wu said. “We plan to keep up this win streak for as long as possible.”
The Mustangs’ next match is Monday, March 18.
