The Mustangs defeated El Segundo, 48-30, improving to an 8-2 record. Sophomore Halle Maeda and senior Keilani Ikehara combined for 26 points.
Despite the start, coach John Lapham recognizes the road ahead of them.
“Well, we’ve set some lofty goals,” said Lapham. “Last year we got to the title game of CIF and we have every intention of getting back there.”
