Boys lacrosse took on their rivals, Redondo High School, on Friday April 17 at Redondo at 7 pm. The final score was 12 to 5 with Redondo taking the win, junior Nash Hale won the majority of the team’s face offs.

The boy’s defense broke down due to Redondo’s fast penetrating attacks down the middle. Hale’s face offs helped the team get possession and form an attack on Redondo to score.

“Since we were struggling on defense, Nash really helped with creating an attack,” Junior Adam Enomoto said. “He won the ball in the middle so we could move forward to create a goal scoring opportunity.”

Costa takes on Palos Verdes High School on Wednesday April 22 at Palos Verdes at 7 pm. Palos Verdes is expected to win. Despite the odds being against Costa, they are preparing to put up a hard fight.

“Wednesday is definitely going to be a tough game,” Enomoto said. “We have been practicing hard all week. We are going to give it our all and run the plays we have been practicing.”
