On Friday, May 1, the boys lacrosse team took on Palos Verdes at home. They were expected to lose badly against PV due to their previous match against them. The final score was 13 to 7 with PV taking the win.

PV held such a high lead the entire game due to their ability to gain possession and hold the ball. The first half of the game was all played was near Costa’s goal. They struggled to create an attack the first half of the game because they could not get possession.

“We worked together on defense and started to communicate through our back line,” junior Nash Hale said. “We failed to keep them from scoring because of PV’s ability to execute their offense. We need to work on slowing the game down and playing our game, not theirs.”

This was the last game of Bay League. They ended with a record of (5-2-0) in Bay League. They take on Thousand Oaks at Thousand Oaks on Tuesday for their first CIF game.

“I hope we can go as far as possible in CIF,” junior John Vansickle said. “I want to end the season far into CIF. We are going to work on all the things we need to improve on before the game and hopefully we come out strong.”
