“ANTI,” Rihanna’s eighth LP, gives Rihanna’s music a whole new feel changing the mood of her songs.
Rihannas newest album changes her voice to a new style and totally different genre than what most people are used to. This new style and tone in her voice suits her perfectly and makes for a great listen.
“ANTI,” currently ranked 1 album on the billboard. ANTI took over 4 years to create but with it staying on the top of the billboard it looks like it might have been worth all the time.
Spending a large amount of time to make “ANTI” perfect wasn’t the only change Rihanna made to her music, but she also turned around her whole style of music.
In past albums Rihanna put her focus towards songs like “B*tch better have my money”,”Pour it up”, and “S&M”, some of her most popular songs. However in ANTI she fully changes the style and tone to use her amazing voice to create more of a smooth R&B feel.
With her newest change in music the Rihanna which used to be music to be blasted and filled with lyrics with curse words and dirty titles are gone and it becomes more music to be listened to alone, almost definitely to pump you up.
Although Rihanna changes to more toned down rhythms,the songs still include vulgar language and catchy verses. This provides the listener with a connection to the old hits of Rihanna’s.
Rihanna doesn’t just manage to switch her sound while keeping her language and original feel in her songs but she also uses the lengths of her songs to keep the listener happy and still wanting more. Rihanna’s newest album has 3 songs under 3 minutes giving the listener the want for more of her.
As well as perfect lengths Rihanna uses techno beats which are perfectly matched up to her lyrics making the song show as emotional and loud. With the addition of the beats this album is almost perfection.
Rihannas newest album “ANTI” is moving up the ranks to the number one spot, a suiting place for one of her best albums released with a new take on her perfect voice.
