The Mira Costa girls volleyball team swept the Palos Verdes Sea Kings with scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-20 Oct. 22 at home.

This Bay League game improves Mira Costa’s record to 15-6 for the season and a perfect 5-0 in the Bay League.

Seniors Jace Pardon and Emma White both played well in all aspects of their game. Pardon finished with 10 kills, 9 digs, and 3 blocks, while White had 6 kills, 18 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 service ace to lead the team defensively.

“After such an emotional match against Redondo on Wednesday night, we wanted to make sure we did not let down against Palos Verdes,” coach Lisa Zimmerman said.
