The girls’ tennis team lost when it visited Peninsula on Oct. 27, bringing the team’s record to 12-6 overall and 4-3 in Bay League.
Sophomore Maegan Manasse continued her undefeated season in the Mustang’s 11-7 loss to Peninsula. The sophomore won her matches with scores of 6-0, 6-0, and 6-1 moving to 51-0 on the season.
The doubles tandem of senior Laura Derian and sophomore Hanna McGuire battled out for two match wins of 6-4 and 7-5. Derian and McGuire have led the Mustang’s doubles the whole season.
The Mustangs will finish the regular season on Nov. 1, when they host Redondo Union High School at 3:00 p.m.
