Since last Friday, September 16, an impressively vibrant collection of Mira Costa AP Studio Art’s summer projects, “Refridgerator Poor”, has been displaying a multitude of styles in room 60.

The multimedia gallery is set up as a showcase of projects AP studio artists worked on this past summer. All students were assigned various specific topics and ideas to utilize for the projects but seemingly transformed them with their stylistic diversity and simple compositions.

Each artist on display has a style completely unique to their own, turning potentially similar concepts into personalized pieces. The gallery displays a plethora of portrait paintings and drawings, each one’s varying styles keeping audiences engaged.

Simplicity proves to be a recurring theme throughout the gallery’s majority, as each piece seems to catch the viewer’s eye without straining their thoughts. The simplicity makes a stroll through this gallery an enjoyable past time as opposed to an analyzation.
