The City of Manhattan Beach hosted the 27th-Annual Pier Lighting and the 22nd-Annual Holiday Open House on Wednesday, where cars were not able to drive on the streets near the pier and attendees watched as the pier was illuminated.
Before the lighting of the pier, the Costa Vocal Ensemble performed on stage. Costa students such as sophomore Charlotte Sabina also performed.
“The pier lighting made [the entire choir] really excited to perform,” choir member and junior Kavita Sarathy said. “This year was especially amazing since our choir has really bonded and felt the holiday spirit together.”
