Costa’s Associated Student Body coordinates the drive and collects all of the toys, canned food and gifts that are donated. ASB members will then deliver the gifts to The Salvation Army and Richstone Family Center where families will receive the donations during the holidays. ASB Sophomore representative Daniela Arensdorf said that the purpose of the charity drive is to give families a better holiday season, if only slightly.

“I think that it’s really good to donate back to the community,” Arensdorf said. “We get so much and we are such a privileged town that it is important to give back to others who aren’t as fortunate.”
