The Mustang wrestling team competed in the Santa Monica Four-Way on December 10. It became a three team tournament when one team failed to arrive. Costa finished third of the three teams following winner Santa Monica and runner-up Bell High School.
Senior Joey Beck led the way for the Mustangs, winning both of his matches. Beck has started strong on the season serving as a dominant Mustang force. Senior Weston Carico split his matches with a win and a loss.
The boys wrestle again on Dec. 11 at Long Beach Poly.
