The Mira Costa boys basketball emerged victorious in a home game against the Santa Monica Vikings. On Jan. 7, the Mustangs had their second win in a row with a score of 67-52.
Costa seniors Elliot Ozer and Thomas Johnson dominated the basketball court. With Ozer at forward and Johnson in the center position, the senior leadership encouraged the team with their consistent points and rebounding.
Costa, with an overall record of 7-9, travels to West Torrance High School for their first Bay League game of the season on Jan. 11.
