The Mira Costa girls soccer team hosted the Chadwick Dolphins on Jan. 7 at Mira Costa. The Mustangs emerged triumphant, prevailing with a 3-0 score.
The freshmen were forces to be reckoned with as Kimby Keever and Mandy McKeegan scored all of the Mustang goals. With two of the three goals, Keever was the top performer in the Chadwick game.
With a record of 9-2-3, the Mustangs prepare for their first Bay League game against West Torrance High School on Jan. 11 at home.
