Mira Costa’s boys water polo defeated Redondo Union High School, 6-1 at Redondo on Wednesday, October 25th. The Mustangs top performer that lead them to their victory was Hudson Carter along with his team mates who also contributed to the score.

The top performer, junior, Carter led the team with his numerous steels throughout. Carter managed to take his opportunity during the third quarter and score a goal, helping the Mustangs take home the win.

“We played really good help defense,” Carter said. “We also used our counterattack to effectively tire them out and score with a great lead.”

The Mustangs will compete against Loyola High School on Friday, October 27th at home. Costa’s boys will need to use their same skills and effort as today in order to keep the winning streak.

“At our game on Friday we will need to do the same thing we did today with our defense and counterattack to claim victory,” Carter said.
