The third season of Netflix’s Original Series, “Love,” returns with familiar but new and comical concepts.

The third season of “Love” entertains viewers with an array of humor, the use of familiar Los Angeles neighborhoods, as well as covering the topic of relationships as an adult through male and female perspectives in a meaningful fashion.

The series is written and produced by Judd Apatow, and follows the story of two young adults living in Los Angeles on their journey of finding each other. The show stars Jillian Jacobs along with Paul Rust.

“Love” tells the story of Mickey Dobbs, played by Gillian Jacobs, and Gus Cruikshank, played by Paul Rust, as they deal with being in a serious relationship and being able to maintain relationships with their friends at the same time.

The most notable aspect of the series is the use of clever humor that entertains and keeps the viewer engaged. The show’s collection of actors and humorous writing accompany each other perfectly, and provide for a delightful mix of comical and serious scenes that combine to form a delightful show.

The stereotypical topic of young adults falling in love has been done on numerous accounts in movies and TV shows, but the narrative told throughout, “Love” brings a new and exciting story to the mix. The third season strays away from the idea of fixing their own individual problems, but now focusing on being able to deal with problems that are hurting them both.

A unique aspect of the series is the use of notable Los Angeles Neighborhoods as the show’s setting. The story’s placement in these neighborhoods provides viewers with a unique perspective on young adult life in Los Angeles.

The only downside to the third season of “Love” is the lack of different stories being told throughout each episode. Jacobs and Cruikshank’s characters seem to fall into the same problem each episode, which leaves the viewer feeling the need to not finish the series.

In spite of “Love’s” single flaw, the series impresses viewers with an array of entertaining characters, humorous yet serious scenes, and brings a refreshing story to the outdated theme of young adults being able to maintain a serious relationship.

The Netflix original series, “Love,” was released on March 9 and the whole season is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
