Sugar Shack, a newly opened ice cream shop in Manhattan Beach, attracts locals and tourists with a variety of sweet treat.

Sugar Shack has an assortment of different desserts and ice cream flavors for a reasonable price, and the shop fits the aesthetic of the surrounding restaurants in the area.

The dessert shop opened on March 10th in El Porto, Manhattan Beach. The shop offers pastries like croissants and donuts, drinks like their infamous mango tea, and a variety ice cream flavors

At Sugar Shack there are 16 different flavors of ice cream at Sugar Shack that range from fruity flavors, such as watermelon, to flavors like birthday cake. The variety of ice cream flavors in the shop allows customers to taste the shops very own delicious versions of original ice cream flavors.

The ice cream itself is rich, creamy and definitely worth the price. Although the portions are somewhat small, the flavorful and filling ice cream makes up for it.

Sugar Shack store front is somewhat lackluster, with nothing but the sign of the store and a neon sign on the window. The inside of the shop is creatively decorated with a neon “Sugar Shack” sign on one of the walls that is the perfect background for a social media post. The sign adds a fun and carefree vibe to the shop that further attracts customers.

Sugar Shack offers a diverse assortment of different toppings to go on top of the ice cream. For $1 the customer can get different types of cereals, sprinkles, graham crackers, and marshmallows. The toppings add to the flavor of the ice cream and make the dessert worth tasting.

Sugar Shack is located in the perfect spot, as it is surrounded by many restaurants that don’t serve desserts. Being the only dessert shop in the neighborhood, Sugar Shack attracts locals and tourists that are looking for something sweet to eat.

Manhattan Beach has a very competitive industry of confectionary shops. The good price and favorable quality makes Sugar Shack stand out from the crowd.

Sugar Shack can be located at 3319 Highland Ave in Manhattan Beach and is open 12pm to 8pm Mondays through Thursdays, 12 to 10pm on Fridays, and 11 am to 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information you can find Sugar Shack on Facebook under their username itssugarshack.
