Boys basketball unable to close in game against Peninsula

The Mira Costa boys basketball team suffered an unfortunate loss to the Peninsula High School Panthers on Jan. 21.The visiting Mustangs left with a loss, 47-43.

The Mustangs turned to their senior leadership to stay in the game. Senior Thomas Johnson contributed 15 points and senior Elliot Ozer added another 13 points.

The Mustangs travel to Palos Verdes to play the Seakings on Jan. 25. With a record of 8-12 overall and 1-3 in the Bay League, the Mustangs will travel with intentions of improving their record.
