MB SAFE hosted a community meeting where Ron Hooks, the executive director of West Coast Care, shared information about his non-profit that has helped thousands of homeless people in Santa Monica. MB SAFE is a non-profit organization started by concerned citizens seeking compassionate and humane solutions to homelessness. The meeting spoke of the extent of the problem and gave ways for community members to get involved and help out.
“Reconnecting the homeless with their loved ones and repairing broken relationships is the key to sustained long-term recovery,” Hooks said.
