The Manhattan Beach Music Coalition hosted a “Why Take Choir” event via Zoom on March 8 to inform students and parents about the benefits of taking a choir class.
At this event, students, teachers and parents from both the primary and secondary schools in the district spoke about their experiences in the choir program in hopes of educating students about the importance of the choir program and encouraging them to enroll or continue with the choir program.
“The purpose of the event was to educate prospective choir students about our program,” senior and co-president of Vocal Ensemble Kieran Malik said.
