With an immense amount of suspense and intensity, “A Quiet Place Part II” exceeds audience expectations.

“A Quiet Place Part ll”  continues off from the deadly events the Abbott family is experiencing throughout their house. Now, they are in an attempt to face the terrors of the outside world as they are in a continuous struggle for survival in silence. As they are forced to venture through the unknown, they soon find out that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the path.

The director, writer and main actor of the film is John Krasinski. Evelyn Abbott is played by Emily Blunt, John Kransinski plays Lee Abbott, Millicent Simmonds plays Regan Abbott, and Noah Jupe plays Marcus Abbott.

This film is the most exceptional horror film of the year as it conveys real emotion to its viewers. It has outstanding scenery to make the viewers believe its truthfulness. The film is a perfect sequel to the first film.

The aim of horror films are to make one feel such an amount of excerillation and fear. This film brings real emotion to its viewer by the acting. All of the acting done throughout the film is so real it makes one feel the same emotions as the characters.

One feels as if they are inside the film with the impeccable scenes. This movie is filmed in many different locations: Barcelona Harbor, Buffalo, New York City, etc. All these locations truly bring this movie to life giving the audience a variety of settings to view.

It was the best choice to create a sequel as the story line from the first to the second film did not confuse viewers. The opening of the second film smoothly transitioned into the new plot and made for an exciting watch. This movie draws the audience immediately when taking viewers right back to the moment of the alien invasion, and makes it clear that this is Regan’s side of the story.

In all, the horror sequel, “A Quiet Place Part ll” is a must see film that integrates real emotion, flawless acting, and a well ordered transition from the first to the second film’s new plot.

“A Quiet Place Part ll” was released to theaters on May 28 and is rated PG-13.
