Costa girls lacrosse won both of its games at the LA/OC Tournament on March 12. They defeated Aliso Niguel, 18-2, and El Dorado, 17-5.

“The games were super fun, and our team spirit was off the charts,” senior midfielder Hayden DeBeer said. “Our strength was that we played for each other, as a team, not just ourselves.”

According to DeBeer, the team’s main goal this season is to beat Redondo on March 30. After this weekend’s games, it has an overall record of 10-1.

“This has been one of my favorite lacrosse seasons, and I am thrilled to work with such a supportive and positive team,” DeBeer said. “The team is definitely closer this year compared to past ones, and it has been a great start to my final season of lacrosse.”
