Newly released film, “The Batman” excites fans with an entertaining plotline and talented actors and actresses.
“The Batman” was released to theaters on March 4 and is already climbing the ranks in the movie industry. According to Warner Bros., the movie has already brought in $250 million world-wide.
The anticipation of the new three-hour film led to local movie theaters flooding with eager DC Comics fans on release day. The upcharge of $1 per ticket for “The Batman” compared to other standard movies generated even more revenue for the company and demonstrates fans’ eagerness to view the film in theaters.
Director Matt Reeves clearly poured his heart and soul into the film, as the care and attention to detail in each scene of the film is evident. The roles were perfectly cast, starring Robert Pattinson as Batman; Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano as Riddler; Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon; Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth; and Colin Farrell as Penguin.
Toward the beginning of the film, the violence and havoc caused by corruption in Gotham City is mildly disturbing. The musical build and suspense as the Riddler strikes his first victim perfectly encapsulates what a true horror movie feels like. These violent scenes linger as the movie continues, keeping the plotline interesting and engaging.
“The Batman” contains accomplished producers and writers that overcome the difficult task of creating a film that feels completely real, as if the disturbing nature of Gotham City is normal and can happen anywhere, anytime. As city officials and political leaders throughout the entire town become corrupt, the Riddler attempts to expose their lies and document their deaths on film to broadcast to his growing fanbase.
From the beginning, the Riddler’s journey to uncover the truth about Gotham City is chilling to watch. The ability of the producers to have such a profound impact on the audience is extremely impressive and noteworthy.
The performance from Robert Pattinson is unlike any other portrayal of Batman thus far. Pattinson’s dark, ominous acting paired with his vampire-like appearance makes him the perfect actor for this role.
Multiple relationships between characters are formed throughout the film, such as Batman and Catwoman. Stunning scenes featuring the pair in front of beautiful, picture-perfect backdrops exhibit their relationship perfectly.

The costume crew for “The Batman” picked amazing costumes for each character that perfectly captures each character’s role. Batman’s sleek and polished look goes hand-in-hand with his haunting acting to create the perfect character.
“The Batman” is definitely a must see, as it features a talented cast, beautiful relationships, realistic plotline and superb costuming. It is evident that a great deal of work and dedication was put into this film, which surely paid off.
“The Batman” was released on March 4 and is currently available for viewing in theaters and will soon be available for streaming on HBO Max.
