Presotea is quickly gaining popularity among both locals and tourists after recently opening on August 13. Presotea offers an assortment of bubble teas, juices, smoothies, coffee, and regular tea.
In recent years, there has been a rapid popularity growth of bubble tea, commonly known as boba, in the United States. Because of the increase of demand for the poplar Asain drink, opening Presotea in Manhattan Beach could not have been more timely.
Presotea exudes a calming ambiance in their very minimalist and simple interior design. Customers can sit down on one of the three benches inside the shop while their drink is being made. Customers also have the option to order beforehand and pick it up at a later time. Presotea also careers to Doordash and Ubereats.
Presotea offers over fifty drinks in which the customer can customize their drink to their liking. The customer can pick the level of sugar and ice in their drink, ranging from 10% to 75%. The customer can also choose which toppings they want in their drink as well as the amount of toppings they want. Some toppings provided at Presotea are the boba pearls, lychee jelly, pudding, aloe-vera, and crystal boba.
Presotea specializes in all types of teas, like milk teas and fruit teas. Some of the ten milk tea flavors are the Earl Grey Milk Tea and the Jasmine Milk Tea which is a combination of green tea and jasmine flowers. Some of the fruit teas provided are the Passion Fruit Green Tea that contains passion fruit and jasmine green tea as well as the Mango Green Tea.
Presotea is successful at creating authentic boba drinks similar to the boba offered in Asian countries. Most bubble tea shops in the United States are often Westernized bubble tea and the drinks often taste watered down and extremely artificial. However, Presotea effectively offers fresh tastes and authentic drinks.
The most popular drink at Presotea is their signature fruit tea. The signature fruit tea contains hand cut fruits like apple and orange and white peach oolong tea. The signature fruit tea is extremely flavorful and refreshing; the combination of the fruits within the drink and the white peach oolong tea creates a unique taste.
Presotea makes ordering drinks efficient. There are four kiosks where one can customize and order a drink as well as pay for it without interacting with any of the employees. Because of this, the time spent making a drink will be reduced. However, the baristas are available to take an order.
Presotea is conveniently located right next to the Manhattan Beach pier. Due to its location, Presotea receives a large amount of activity from tourists and locals alike. Tea can be enjoyed at any time in the day and boba is often enjoyed after dinner, acting as a dessert, making Presotea great for anytime throughout the day.
