The girls basketball team defeated the Palos Verdes Sea Kings 45-33 at home on Feb. 10 in their last Bay League game. With this win the Mustang’s record is now 18-9 overall and 8-2 in Bay League.
The leading scorers were senior Kylie Nakamine with 12 points and sophomore Ashley Reese with ten points.
Costa placed second in Bay League. The girls hope to carry on their winning streak into CIF play. The date and opponent for the first round of playoffs have yet to be determined.
