The iconic Sprinkles Cupcakes opened on Oct. 28 in the newly renovated Manhattan Beach Village Mall. The menu is not cupcake exclusive and consists of a variety of desserts. However, the bakery’s main advertisement and baked goods are their famous cupcakes that gained popularity in the early 2010’s. 

Sprinkles Cupcakes opening is perfectly timed in a very optimal location that is the Manhattan Beach Village Mall following its massive restoration. Just stores away from the outdoor lawn of the mall, Sprinkle receives a large amount of foot traffic after lunch and dinner. Sprinkles is also surrounded by retail stores such as Faherty and Urban Outfitters for those who are looking to satisfy their sweet tooth after shopping.

Sprinkles provides an assortment of cupcakes. Some flavors on their menu include Red Velvet, Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, Carrot, Sprinkle, Salty Caramel, Triple Cinnamon, Chocolate Marshmallow, Banana, Strawberry, and more.

Sprinkles offers more than cupcakes. Their menu includes cookies, brownies, cakes, and chocolates. Additionally, they offer vegan, sugar free, and gluten free options as well, in which their signature red velvet cupcakes are provided to fit dietary restrictions while tasting dedicated and delicious as the original red velvet cupcake.

Among their extensive menu, one of their more popular items is the Black and White cupcake. With its Belgian dark chocolate cake topped with a creamy vanilla frosting, the Black and White creates a combination of delicious flavors.The contrasting tastes of the heavy dark chocolate and the light and airy flavor of the creamy frosting balances eachother out to make a delectable cupcake. 

For the Fall season, Sprinkles provides unique cupcake flavors such as Pumpkin, Cinnamon Roll, and Nutella French toast. The taste of the pumpkin cupcake is perfect for fall. Habitually returning every Autumn, the cupcake consists of ginger, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon that’s topped with cream and cinnamon frosting. 

The infamous cupcakes take a large appearance due to the large circumference of the frosting. But in reality, the cupcakes are actually smaller than one might suspect, making the cost of the cupcakes seem expensive. However, the delicious tastes of the cupcakes make up for the fact they are smaller in actuality. 

Upon arriving, customers are kindly greeted by the staff and are welcomed to order by submitting their order by one of the two ipads at the counter. This process of ordering limits interaction between the staff and the customer and is extremely efficient for the customer. This procedure of ordering saves time as well, making ordering and receiving the order faster.

The interior of the shop has a minimalist design. The two television screens project the menu along with other announcements about the products. The store is small and as a result the shop can get very crowded quite quickly. Outside of the store, the iconic Cupcake ATM is awaiting to be opened. The Cupcake ATM makes ordering quick and ensures that customers do not have to even enter the store to get their cupcake.

Overall, Sprinkles Cupcakes is a perfect asset to the Manhattan Beach Village Mall with their wide variety of cupcakes and other baked goods. Their popular flavors provided mouth watery flavors in which their prices range from 5 to 6 dollars. 

Sprinkles Cupcakes is open from 10 A.M to 9 P.M on weekdays, 10 A.M to 10 A.M on Saturdays and 10 A.M to 8 P.M on Sundays and is located at 3360 N Sepulveda Blvd space N-120.
