Straw & Spoon is a new boba location carrying bubble tea, acai bowls, juice bars and smoothies and it’s found to be a hit. This new Boba place is long-awaited, newly opened and has a 4.5 star rating on yelp with amazing reviews.
Although there are a couple, It’s not very common to have many boba places near the city of Manhattan Beach, They are however quite common in the suburbs. With Straw & Spoon it changes a lot of conditions because it’s one of the closer boba places to what we call home. Boba has become quite popular over the years bringing the demand for boba way higher, this is why it’s good to have a close boba place to those who live in Manhattan beach and just the overall southbay.
The new Boba facility helps save money as well. Having a close boba place with all the selection one would want creates a want for people to go to that place instead of one farther away. This helps many because ordering from far away places increases the overall cost of the order. Even driving to a far away place costs more because of the difference in use of gas. If it becomes a habit, there’s now always a close boba location nearby.
Straw & Spoon is highly recommended. Straw and spoon offers order ahead and delivery on their website. For those impatient ordering ahead is always available to get it at arrival. Even when ordering in store service it is efficient. The brown sugar milk tea is one of their most popular creations. The drinks aren’t too sweet and contain a good amount of boba.
Not only does straw & spoon offer boba, but is also known for their acai bowls. It also offers real fruit ice tea and smoothies with many different flavors to choose from. The lowest rating one gave straw and spoon was 3 stars with the reasoning that the overall drink they got was just not for them. I think that at any place there’s always going to be something that you wouldn’t necessarily order, which is why I still completely recommend going yourself and seeing if it’s the place for you.
Straw & Spoon currently has one location in Redondo Beach, but if all goes well more locations will be added. Straw and Spoon opens at 11:30 am until 7:30pm on Sundays, Mondays,Wednesdays and Thursdays, Is closed on Tuesdays and opens from 11:30-8:30 from Fridays to Saturdays. One boba place could have what the other does not, and it’s still convenient because it’s not a large difference in location.
