Costa beat Palos Verdes in the Comedy Sportz match in the small theater on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.
The improv show was a competition between the two schools. Points were calculated based on the crowd’s opinion of which team was funnier or per- formed the given prompt better. The first half saw
Costa in the lead, which remained consistent until the very end of the game. The next match can be watched during second semester.
“Comedy Sportz is special,” said sophomore Jaxon Stroyke. “The audience is so supportive no matter what team they are rooting for. It’s such a great camaraderie of people you would never expect, and that’s what makes it amazing.”
