Student Government posted on Apr. 15 the official list of candidates for 2011 Student Government elections. The campaign is the week of Apr. 18 and the election is held in second period on Apr. 22.
All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be able to vote for student government board members – student body president, student body vice president, student government secretary and student government treasurer. For class officers, students will be able to vote only for the officers of their own class.
Student body president candidates are junior Alec Weaver and junior Travis Taylor. Student body vice president candidates are junior Mackenzie Austin and junior Sekinat Shiwoku. Student government secretary candidates are junior Ashlee Dotson and junior Victoria Torres. The candidates for student government treasurer are junior Jill Thompson and sophomore Dillon Shambaugh.
For Class of 2012, class president candidates are juniors Trent Fujii and Carly McPherson. Class vice president candidates are juniors Michael Diaz and Riley Thomas. The only Class secretary/treasurer candidate is junior Kelly Nutten
For Class of 2013, class president candidates are sophomores Mckenzie Becker, Rachel Humphrey and Ryan Kaseff. The only class vice president candidate is sophomore Paige Olson. The only class secretary/treasurer candidate is sophomore Natalie Pratt.
For Class of 2014, class president candidates are freshmen Sara Chamberlain and Joe Luck. Class vice president candidates are freshmen Kirk La and Savannah Sartini. The only secretary/treasurer candidate is freshman Kaela Hornstra.
The results of the election will be posted after 5th period on April 22.
