On May 4, the Mira Costa Mustangs girls lacrosse team lost to Agoura. The game was their final match of their season, ending their CIF run in the first round with a final score of 6-5.
The teams were well-matched, keeping the game very close. The biggest lead Agoura had over Costa was by two points at halftime. Lexi Kurugian helped the Mustangs keep their intensity high to contend with Agoura.
With the loss, the girls end their season with a final record of 12-6.
