The Mira Costa Mustang boys lacrosse team battled Palos Verdes on May 10 at Waller Stadium for the
Los Angeles County championship. Costa won the game 18-11, making their overall record 19-4.
Junior Dakota Randall led Costa’s offense. He had previously been on hiatus due to a spinal injury but in this important game, Randall scored five goals.
With this win, Costa now carries the Los Angeles County CIF title, but whether they will also win
the overall CIF championship title is to be determined on May 14, where Costa will play Foothill High
School.
