The Mira Costa Cross Country team hit the road on Sept. 10 to compete in the Laguna Hills Invitational to open up its season.
The Senior boys team, led by Adam Perez and Travis Taylor placed second out of thirteen teams, while the senior girls placed 1st.
The Mustang’s next meet will take place on Sept. 17 at the Woodbridge Invitational in Costa Mesa.
