The Mira Costa girl’s tennis team suffered their first loss of the season against Newport Harbor High School on Sept. 13 at home. This ends their current win streak of 2 games bringing their record to 2-1.
The team suffered a very disappointing loss, losing 17 of their 18 matches played. The only victors of the match with Newport Harbor were Juniors Alex Waller and Juliana Hoft in doubles play.
The Mustangs hit the road for their first away game of the season against South Torrance on Sept 14.
