After a disappointing loss to Newport Harbor, the Mira Costa girl’s tennis team bounced back with a win on the road against South Torrance on September 14. This win brings their record to an impressive 3-1.
The Mustangs out-performed the South Torrance Spartans with a swift 11-7 victory. Junior Hanna McGuire and freshman Taylor Klein continue to showcase their early season dominance, both contributing a combined 6 wins for the Mustangs in singles play. Juniors Juliana Hoft and Alex Waller also played an instrumental role for the team, adding 2 wins to the teams total in doubles play.
The Mustangs will hit the road for their second straight away game against Palisades High School on Sept 15 at 3:00.
