The Mira Costa girl’s tennis team played a remarkably competitive match that ended in a tie against Palisades High School at home on September 15. The tie bring theirs overall record to 3-1-1.
The Mustangs ended the game with an even 9-9 score in match wins as well as a 77-77 tie in games played. Senior Erin Murphyand Junior Lauren Watts played strongly in doubles, adding 2 wins to the teams’ total of 9. In singles play, Junior Hanna McGuire continued to display her dominance as she swept her opponents for the second time this season with 3 wins.
The girl’s return to their home court against Long Beach Poly High School on September 20 at 3:00.
