On Saturday November 26, the Mira Costa boys cross country team and girl senior runner Kelli Sugimoto competed in the state meet of CIF in Fresno, California.
Sugimoto placed 17th in her race with a time of 18:50 while the boys team placed 13th out of 22 teams. Neither Sugimoto or the boys will be advancing to Nationals in Portland, Oregon.
Both the boys and girls cross country teams seasons are officially over.
