Although the Mira Costa girls tennis team was eliminated from CIF playoffs on Nov. 10, one Mustang is still representing her high school by making it to CIF singles. Junior Maegan Manasse qualified for CIF playoffs on Nov. 18 by winning two matches at Mira Costa to move on to the first round of singles play.
Manasse was given a bye in the first round of qualifiers and then proceeded to win both her next two matches by scores of 6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively.
Manasse’s next match of CIF will be played on Dec. 1 at the Seal Beach Tennis Center.
