Coming off a split double-header against Long Beach Poly to begin the 2012 season, the Costa baseball team hosted Los Alamitos on Teusday, Feb. 28 and came up short, losing 7-6. The Mustangs are now 1-2 to start the season. Senior Anthony Lombardo had two hits, including a two run home run in the first inning. Senior Turner Conrad and junior Garrett Wells each contributed two hits to the effort as well.
The Mustangs’ next game is Thursday at Downey.
