On Wednesday April 18 the Mira Costa baseball team defeated Leuzinger High School, 6-0, at home and improved their overall record to 12-8 and their Bay League record to 3-0.
Juniors Chris Alcala, Madden Laing, and Austin Henning threw for a combined team no hitter with the help of senior Turner Conrad. Juniors Kevin Lopez and Trent Hammond had two hits each in the win.
Costa hosts Leuzinger again on Friday.
