The Mira Costa girls JV volleyball team defeated Edison High School with a clean sweep of 2 sets to 0.
Sophomore team captain Katrina Kernochan had 6 kills and 2 aces. Sophomore Sam Sestonavich had 3 kills and 2 blocks.
The Mustangs next game was played on Sept 11 at 3:30 pm against Marymount High School.
