The Mira Costa girls junior varsity volleyball team defeated Palos Verdes High School 2 sets to 0 on Sept. 26.
The Mustangs won the first set 25-14 and won the second set 25-18. Sophomores Katrina Kernochan and Sam Schnyder both had a total of 6 kills.
The Mustangs’ next game will be at home against Laguna Beach on Wednesday Oct. 3.
