The Mira Costa Junior Varsity football team defeated Newport Harbor 28-6 on Sept. 28. The team’s record is currently 3-2.
Sophomore Dane Largent led the defense with 16 tackles and 5 sacks.
The next game will be played against West Torrance at home on Oct. 4 at 3:15 p.m.
