The Mira Costa Boys Water Polo team played in a tournament on Oct. 26 and 27 in Irvine.
Costa won the first game against Aliso Niguel 10-6. The team beat Carlsbad in the second game 10-8 but then lost to Dana Hills 9-6. The Mustangs lost to Righetti 15 to 11 in the last game. Mira Costa took fourth overall in the tournament.
“This was a really difficult tournament and Costa placing fourth overall shows that our hard work is paying off,” senior Jimmy Bissell said.
The team’s next game will be against Peninsula on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Costa pool at 5 pm.
