The Mira Costa boys water polo team played Loyola High School on Saturday, Nov. 3.
The Mustangs lost 17-4.
Junior Austin Norris, senior Cody Kelley and sophomore Andrew Todd each had one goal during the match.
“This game was not crucial to our season because we already made CIFs but it still proved that we aren’t playing as well as we should be,” Kelley said.
The team’s first CIF match will be against Corona High School on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at home.
