The Mira Costa varsity boys basketball team beat Torrance High School, 62-36, on Dec. 7 in an away match.
Senior Connor Kernochan scored 10 points and seniors Ryan Kaseff and Adam Winett scored 8 points. Junior Justin Strings also scored 8 points which contributed to the team’s win.
“I think we played really well overall,” sophomore Gavin Reegan said. “It was a great victory.”
The Mustangs will play on Wednesday Dec.12, against Tahquitz High School in an away match.
