The Mira Costa girls basketball team finished third in the La Habra tournament, after winning 70-35 against Capistrano Valley on Dec. 7 in an away game.
Sophomore Haley Tojo earned the all tournament player award. Junior Camille Mills was the top scorer with eighteen points. Junior Shaylyn Austin scored fourteen points for the Mustangs.
“We have been working really hard and I know our team will only continue to improve as the season progresses,” Tojo said.
The girls played in a non-league game against South Torrance High School on Dec. 10.
