The Mira Costa boys varsity basketball team defeated Pacifica High School on Friday, Dec. 21, at home with a score of 71-52.
Seniors Oliver Mausner and Kevin Kim scored 20 and 15 points respectively, and junior Justin Strings scored nine points.
“We played a strong game and it was a good match for the starting season,” sophomore Gavin Reegan said.
The Mustangs will compete in the Torrey Pines tournament at La Jolla High School Wednesday Dec. 26 through Dec. 29.
