The Mira Costa girls soccer team beat Dos Peublos High School on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2-0 in the Mustangs’ first CIF game.
Junior Mandy McKeegan scored the first goal for the Mustangs. The second goal was scored by senior Kirby Benson.
“We were knocking on the door the entire second half,” senior Kara Enomodo said. “When we finally put two opportunities in the back of the net it solidified a win.”
The girls’ next game will be on Tuesday, Feb. 19 against Temecula Valley High School at home.
