The Mira Costa High School boys varsity basketball team defeated Cathedral City High School 78-43 at home on Friday, Feb. 15.
Seniors Cole Feaster, Ryan Kaseff and Kevin Kim scored 15, 13 and 18 points, respectively.
“We were nervous,” coach Jeff Amaral said. “We were happy with the season and happy with the seating we got in CIF, but you have to prove your worth and we did.”
The Mustangs next match was on Tuesday, Feb. 19 against Oxnard High School at home.
