Coming off a tough loss against Torrence, the Mira Costa baseball team mercies Pioneer 10-0 on Saturday, March 2, in the sixth inning.
Senior pitcher Chris Alcala pitched a shutout in the Mustangs’ win.
“This game gave us a lot of confidence,” junior right fielder Ryan Corral said. “We need to take this confidence into our upcoming games.”
The boys next game will be on March 5 against Bellflower High School at home.
